Introduction to Movement Naturel - "MovNat"

The MovNat lifestyle comes highly recommend by our authors on this blog. It is a large part of the foundation we set for living healthfully and naturally. It focuses on reconnecting with out instinctual and primal ways of moving including walking, running, jumping, swimming, climbing, throwing, catching, lifting, balancing, carrying and defending. Connection with out natural environment also is an integral part of this way of life.

Check out the founder's website (Erwin LeCorre) and some of his videos on there:

Now we do not have to move back to nature, stop saving, and gear up in your loin cloth, though we may learn a thing or two about what's really deep down inside of us. We do, however, need to realize that humans have been domesticated so to speak. Erwin LeCore has coined the modern man - "homo-economus" - a "zoo human". Our built envrionment, the urban cities we live in, make life super easy for us. Now in some ways that's a good thing, we have more leisure time which can be spent with family or on higher education. But many recent trends have led humans to the sedentary lives we live today. MovNat seeks to "reawaken" the true human in us and to reconnect us with our natural roots.

Be strong; be healthy, to be useful my friends!
